    This "Greetings From Arizona" wooden box transported packaged fruit to loved ones, and literally had a shelf life after that. In an era of gangsters and failing banks, the sturdy 7 by 9 by 1 1/4-inch box allowed Depression Era recipients to stash their money and valuables on a book shelf. The boxes were produced for Clark's Citrus & Dates, a Phoenix institution. The cover design depicts a palm grove, and the "binding" reads "Arizona Memories . . . Volume One . . . Grown in Arizona."
