Vintage African mask

Description

Very old mask. In 1985 I was given 3 masks from the widow of a merchant marine sailor who had traveled all over the world, later retired, opened a Bar in Visalia, Ca.  known as the 7 Seas. He had passed away some years prior to my getting the 3, 1 of which is shown here. I have no info on this and because of the known history of the gentleman, I believe they are from Africa. That's all I know. Pricing is based on age and knowing the history of the original owner.
Please feel free to comment if you can add info to their origin.  I have owned these for 35 + years, and though NEW mask's
are  readily available this one and the other two I have listed are from primitive artisans that had no modern tools, Now time to down-size. Please note back has a broken area, doesn't show when mounted.
