Here at Mohnton Popcorn Growers, we just don't sell our own popcorn,
We Grow It
! From early Spring planting, through Summer growing season until late Fall harvest, we care for our popcorn closely. Unlike other "Popcorn" sites, it's not what goes into our popcorn, it's what doesn't!
Here are some facts about our organic popcorn:
(1) We apply

: Pesticides/Herbicides/Fungicides
(2) We
DO
apply organic compost twice a year
(3) Our Premium White Popcorn is an Amish favorite which pops small, tender and hulless
(4) Our Hybrid Yellow Popcorn pops large, tender and delicious
(5) Our popcorn is hand tilled and hand harvested.
(6) We DO NOT add any additives or preservatives
Our products are seasonal, so order early. Grown in Southeastern PA, near the heart of Pennsylvania Amish Country.
According to the USDA, " As popcorn is 100 percent unprocessed grain, it is a whole-grain food.  One serving can provide about 70 percent of the recommended daily intake of whole grain.  Popcorn also contains a number of vitamins:  folate, niacin, riboflavin, thiamin, pantothenic acid, and vitamins B6, A, E and K.  A serving of popcorn contains about 8 percent of the daily value of iron, with lesser amounts of calcium, copper, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus, potassium and zinc. "
