African beaded mask

African beaded mask. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail. This is a mask I purchased years ago from an estate I handled.   The grandparents of the owner were world wide Travellers about 50 years ago. This was purchased on one of their destinations.   This is NOT an imported typical mask seen by the dozens everywhere today.  The mask is covered in glass beads of various beautiful colors. Also Cowrie shells are used. The base materials is a stuff canvas type material hand stitched.The mask stands 17 inches tall and its 10 inches in diameter.  With that diameter you cant wear it. So it was for ornamental purposes.  It is old,  these folks have been deceased for decades. It was in storage a few decades after their passing.   I do not know the tribe or origin.  Its in great shape nothing seems loose or damaged.
